Dr. Leslie Speer is a licensed clinical psychologist, Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with extensive experience in evaluation of Autism and ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults.

Following her graduation from the University of Utah, Dr. Speer received specialty training at The Children's Center in Salt Lake City in the area of emotional and behavioral difficulties within a therapeutic preschool program. During her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Utah, Dr. Speer focused her training on the assessment of autism spectrum disorders. Following her fellowship, Dr. Speer coordinated a clinic providing Autism assessments, learning evaluations, individual therapy and family therapy at University of Utah.

 

Dr. Speer was the Program Director of the Autism Spectrum Evaluation Team (ASET) at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism for ten years. In this role, Dr. Speer oversaw and coordinated multidisciplinary Autism evaluations of children, adolescents, and adults, a sibling clinic, medication monitoring clinic, and parent support groups. Dr. Speer also worked at MetroHealth Autism Assessment Clinic (MAAC) and as the Clinical Director at Frazier Behavioral Health conducting comprehensive Autism and ADHD evaluations across the lifespan and providing treatment and support for individuals diagnosed with Autism and their families.

Along with evaluation of Autism and ADHD, Dr. Speer specializes in treatment planning following a new diagnosis, resource management for transitions, sibling support, and advocating for children in the school setting. Her primary focus is on empowering people so that they can live their best life.
